Join TesserAct Theatre Ensemble in bringing T. R. Frye's musical play to life. Don't Call Me Jimbo is a play that examines the bullying occurring every day in our schools. James Elliott, a special needs student is being mainstreamed into the local high school. As he navigates the hallways, he discovers he is not alone as every student he meets seems to both experience and practice bullying in some form. A bright light is shone on the need for more compassion in our daily lives.

This production aims to show the harmful long-lasting effects of being bullied and possible avenues to explore when issues arise. Our goal is to heighten awareness and create positive dialog.

This production is endorsed and sponsored by Speak Out Against Bullying, Inc., Free 2 Luv and the Jed Foundation and the content has been approved by local school districts as relevant and accurate.
